The DDEx - Document Data Extractor - project holds a framework that uses a set of APIs and the Pattern Builder to allow Java apps to use data from documents into other contexts, encapsulating and performing the extraction independently of format ([doc, xls, ppt]/ODF/OOXML/PDF)
